“It seems like we have been getting requests for an HSS model since we first released the Ashburn, so here it is! A lot of players want the clean chimey single-coil sounds of the Ashburn while playing rhythm parts, but really want the power of a humbucker when switching to lead parts. The Ashburn HSS has the Bloodline JP-1s in the neck and middle positions, and a special JP-2 humbucker in the bridge. The 5-position switch allows all the classic single-coil selections, while the tone control also features a push-pull switch to split the humbucker. You can either have the power of the humbucker, or the cleanliness of a single-coil! Coolness, eh?” - John Page

• Description

A double-cutaway, solid body production guitar custom designed by John Page to be “uniquely familiar.” Featuring an extremely comfortable medium “C” shaped grip, threaded bolt neck assembly for greater tone transfer, contoured heel for easier upper fret access, staggered tuners that eliminate the need for string trees, bass justified fret dots for greater visibility, and Bloodline® by John Page™ JP-2 Humbucker and (2) JP-1 single coil S-style pickups.
