Retro Humbucker – Low Output Humbucker
Paf like in character, the Retro has a warm clean sound with nice top end that’s not too bright, even at midrange response. Nice overdrive with good articulation. Smooth, creamy, classic voicing.
Alnico 5 magnets, counter clockwise winding direction, screw coil south and slug coil north polarity, 53mm wide f spacing, 50mm narrow g spacing. straight humbuckers have a standard coil layout and slanted humbuckers have a traditional tyler coil layout with pickup at angle and offset coils. dc specs 7.25 +/-
Hot Retro – Low Output Humbucker
A little more dirt with more low mids and mids than the Retro. The mids are punchy with good bite. Smooth overdrive with more output than the Retro.
