Combining authentic Fender feel with favorite player modifications, the Limited Edition ’60 HS Tele® Custom Relic® adds thick high-output tone to traditional Tele twang. The Relic lacquer finish on the two-piece select ash body imparts the look and feel of a well-loved instrument that’s seen many a stage and tour bus. The rift-sawn maple neck has a ’59 “large-C” profile and “flash coat” dark-tinted Relic lacquer finish, topped by a comfortable 9.5”-radius fingerboard with 21 narrow tall frets.
A hand-wound Texas Special single-coil bridge pickup and Seymour Duncan® Seth Lover SH-55 humbucking neck pickup deliver a one-two tonal punch. Customized dual-stack HS Tele wiring creates the perfect sonic balance between the two, with three-way switching and 250k (bridge) and 500k (neck) volume and tone potentiometers. Other features include a vintage-style ’58-’63 Telecaster bridge with compensated RSD brass saddles for authentic Fender tone and superior intonation, four-ply brown shell pickguard, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, and “wing” string tree. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
