About El Cabron Guitars

El Cabron™ Guitars was created by Mike Eldred who is a highly respected figure in the music industry with a career closing in on a 40 year span. Mike started building guitars at Charvel Manufacturing in the 1977 as Grover Jackson’s first hired employee laying the groundwork for one of the most fascinating careers in the musical instrument business.

Here at El Cabron Guitars we create one-of-a-kind unique instruments using Mike’s rich experiences in the music industry. Each instrument is unique, high quality, and collectable. Five instruments at a time, first come first served.

El Cabron™ Two Pickup “Tiki” T Style

The El Cabron ™ Two Pickup T Style is an Alder body with a 21 fret Maple neck. It’s features are 6105 fret wire, brass side dots, bi-flex butt adjust truss rod, Plek’d frets, Custom hand-wound humbucking 20k Esquire pickup paired with a Curtis Novak Custom Gold Foil neck pickup. The guitars feature custom wiring with volume, Greasebucket tone circuit, and a three-way toggle switch. Artwork is all hand done, with each guitar having it’s own unique art treatment. Each guitar comes with Certificate of Authenticity, high-end MONO Stealth gig bag, custom mojo keychain, 10-46 Elixir® strings.

The South Pacific, gentle winds, sunshine, sand, and a good Mai Tai. Who doesn’t enjoy a good Tiki Bar? Many nights were lost to the Mai Tai along with great friends! This guitar reflects the vintage postcard artwork hand-painted by my daughters Lindy & Maclyn, and also from my beautiful wife. It is Sonic Blue with custom hand-painted graphics. An added bonus is the original Mai Tai recipe that you can always have on-hand at the gig! The guitar is accented by tiki drink milagros and a silver Tiki Totem!
