JAMES TYLER GUITARS
James Tyler started out doing custom electric guitar work and repairs in the early 1970’s. His reputation grew by word of mouth up through the later 1980’s and early 1990’s when a lot of top session players and artists in the Los Angeles studio scene trusted him to give them exactly what they needed. He listened to his customers and pushed the limits by constantly seeking what could be improved. This kind of hands-on experience with thousands of guitars and an exclusive clientele has given James keen insight into how things work, and what players want.
CLASSIC
This model combines classic good looks with a variety of pickup, hardware and finish options. Keeping with the traditional look while allowing a more personal touch makes this electric guitar a favorite.
Shark – Bridge Humbucker

Alnico 5 magnets, counter clockwise winding direction, screw coil south and slug coil north polarity, 53mm wide f spacing, 50mm narrow g spacing. straight humbuckers have a standard coil layout and slanted humbuckers have a traditional tyler coil layout with pickup at angle and offset coils. dc specs 15.70 +/-
Seymour Duncan Hot Stack (Neck)
Hum Cancelling ST Pickup
With its powerful noiseless Strat pickup sound and smooth string-to-string balance, the Hot Stack ST will transform the bridge and neck positions of your S-Style guitar. It is also famous in Nashville as the go-to middle pickup for modified TL.
