The F-47 body is one of Guild’s most versatile designs. It features our classic Grand Orchestra shape but with a deeper profile that produces a strong, focused sound with greater volume and projection.
The GSR F-47KC is a special run version of our eye-catching F-47 cutaway model. It features a solid Bearclaw Sitka spruce top and solid premium koa back and sides that, along with its Florentine cutaway and custom appointments, give it a captivating visual appeal and a clear, articulate voice. It also features the 18-volt D-TAR® Multi-Source™ pickup system for exceptional amplified performance.
Other special features include an ebony fingerboard and bridge; ivoroid body, neck and headstock biding; koa headcap with mother-of-pearl “Vintage G” logo; mother-of-pearl block position inlays with 12th-fret abalone “G” inlay; custom gold Gotoh® open-back tuners with white “Gshield” buttons; bone nut and saddle; “Parisian eye” bone bridge pins and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
