SUHR SSV PICKUPS (Neck Humbucker)

Our most popular humbuckers. The SS, or single screw, series of pickups feature the classic, authentic combination of a single row of adjustable screw pole pieces and a row of slug pole pieces. These pickups offer the warmth of a vintage humbucker with increased clarity and definition, and range in output from vintage to hot.

SSV – BRIDGE AND NECK

The SSV has a broad sonic aperture with very little compression, making for a dynamic, vintage output humbucker. The SSV Neck is a versatile pickup that combines the warmth of a vintage humbucker with increased clarity and definition. The SSV Bridge is similar to the SSV neck in tone but wound hotter for more output, increased sustain, and a sweet midrange response.

SUHR V63+ PICKUPS (Middle Single Coil) (ML Standard)

The V63+ started with John’s V63 design and was overwound to create a hotter pickup with more output and incredibly rich tone. Previously referred to as the ‘ML’, the name was updated to better reflect its tonal response and sound. The V63+ pickups offer a balance of tight lows, focused midrange, and smooth top-end sparkle. They incorporate a modified staggered pole piece design to provide an even magnetic field to accommodate instruments with flatter neck radiuses and modern string gauges.
