In response to the demands and desires of four players
in Los Angeles, Rusty Anderson, Joel Shearer, Lyle Workman and Nick Lashley,
amplifiers from ÷13 underwent construction. Once completed, countless
hours were spent in some of the best studios in L.A. listening to every
speaker, cabinet, baffle thickness, box material, box size and micing
technique before arriving at the final models and outfits currently being
offered from ÷13. (more)
FTR 37 - Black/Cream w/ 2x12 F
Capturing and exceeding some of the best tones offered by our favorite
amp from Fullerton and our favorite amp from England, the FTR 37 from
1 to 10 can produce the most pure and bodied clean tones, to varying
degrees of medium and over-the-top types of complex and full-bodied
overdrive.
Coupled with the exterior switching/boost device, the
Switchazel, the flexibility available in both channels, either separate
or blended, offer an infinite array of guitar tones rarely thought
possible for the music maker of today.

LDW 17/39 -
Navy/Cream Head
Again, responding to what people ask me to do this new amp the LDW 17/39 is in responce to the request to say make a 'the little brother' to the JJN 50/100 with a little twist.
The LDW 17/39 offers all of what is described in the JJN 50/100 [please read] but runs "Class A" in the 17 watt lower power mode giving the player that classic creamy "Class A" overdrive with smooth compression offering a new twist to the wide range of, but improved upon, sounds we've come to expect from our favorite amplifiers from England from the mid 60's through the mid 80's. Just Killing it with a Divided by 13 2x12F cabinet.
RSA 31 - Cream/Black
w/ 2x12 F
Refined and voiced closer to our favorite EL84 30 Watt amplifier from England,
the RSA 31 offers a little more pronounced midrange and is a little
more aggressive than the ERT 33, but still retains a tight, punchy
lower end and has half power potential
Channel One... is laid out
with Volume, Treble, "Middle",
and Bass controls, giving the player the ability to move around the most
important "Middle" of this type of amplifier format. And rounding
it off, Channel
Two... remains the now familiar, gainier "Click" Channel
powered by a 5879 Pentode with an adjustable frequency range and volume
control.
RSA 31s -- Now available in a smaller, one channel
version to go with 2x12D cabinet "Small Club Series", or
whichever cabinet you prefer.

RSA 23 - Black/Purple
Combining the best attributes of several of our favorite British amplifier
formats, the RSA 23 presents a truly unique and stand-alone sonic signature
rarely heard before. From the speed, sensitivity and dynamics of our
favorite EL84 amp from England, to the midrange punch and aggressive
drive of some of our favorite 50 to 100 Watt 4-input amplifiers from
England, topped off with the very unique roaring, powerful, creamy
and articulate overdrive offered in our favorite 200 Watt KT88 amplifier
from England, the single note chord definition at all ranges from 1
to 10 is simply spectacular.

version to go with 2x12D cabinet "Small Club Series", or
whichever cabinet you prefer.

CH1 -- Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass
CH2 -- ÷13 5879 Powered w/ Volume and adjustable freq. range
With an overly stout and painstakingly developed power supply made to
accommodate two sets of power tubes, the JRT 9/15 offers the biggest
sound in a low wattage amplifier heard to date.
Starting from right to left, the single input of
the amplifier (high and low sensitivity) feeds the inputs of two 5879
Pentodes, each with its own volume control and blendable. Each is voiced
differently: one is brighter with more clean headroom while the other
is gainier and thicker in the low mids. Added to this volume is a 6
position switch which offers a "bright cap" selection. The last knob is a high cut for the
overall amplifier. The "Mode" toggle provides a selection of
either 9+ Watts with 6V6s, or 15+ Watts with EL84s, offering and exceeding
the best tones available in some of our favorite late 50's American 6V6
amplifiers, and our favorite EL84/EL34 English amplifiers.
Don't be fooled by its size; this one sounds huge!

SJT 10/20 - Gold/cr 1x12
Keeping in the tradition and the voicing of its big brother, the FTR 37,
the 10/20 offers a few exclusive features making it ideal for smaller
gigging and recording situations. The 10/20 offers 20 Watts in the
Class AB1/A mode, and 10 Watts in the Hard Class A mode for more of
your 50's style Tweed tones. Both channels found in the FTR 37 are
made available via the two input jacks in the 10/20. There is an additional
flattening/ dampening switch offered for optional control at all levels,
as well as a push/pull mid/gain boost. The 10/20 is a true winner and
a very versatile amp in the 10 to 20 watt category.

EDT13/29Combo
My (Evan D. Taubenfeld speaking) younger brother is graduating from college
(Berklee) and i want to get him a 1x12 combo from your line of stuff.
I'm thinking your SJT 10/20 but he is a jazz/blues with an edge type
of player and i think he may need a little more clean headroom and
then maybe the potential of getting more aggressive at lower levels
as well. Can you make him something more like in the 30 watt range
that can go to a half power mode more like a late fifties tweed like
amp for smaller duties?
WHY NOT?!
We start with the basic SJT 10/20 format and first change
the entire back end of the amplifier, both the circuit and the output
iron and choke to accommodate using a pair of KT 66s, and KT 66s specifically
because they produce a really nice American amp style of clean with more
of a glassy/shimmery type of high end and when driven a more creamier,
content rich type of overdrive not able to be produced by a standard
6L6GC type of tube. Next make a power tranformer, that when tube rectified,
produces the precise amount of B+ voltage to achieve 30 watt approximately
with a pair of KT 66's in a Class AB1 mode and in a Class A mode take
the current draw necessary to support that mode as well. We keep the
reverb and dampening switch and the speaker of choice is a Celestion
Vintage 30 chosen for both the sound it produces and it's power handling
capabilities.
What you get at the end of the rainbow is one of Divided by 13 most versitile
amplifiers to date. With almost unlimited capabilities it captures a
perfect merger of classic American and British cleans to overdriven tones
and voicings and all in a relatively small and portable 30 watt 1x12
combo again inspired by a player (thanks Evan) that is asking us to take
him where he wants to go. more

CJ11 Combo
When asked, by Corky James, amongest others, "Can you take my favorite
1959 tweed amp from Fullerton and instead of the controls being Volume
Volume Tone make it Volume Treble Bass, give it more clean headroom, a
wider range of usable overdrive (throw in a little EL 34), make it a little
louder with fuller, tighter low end, and put a master volume in it so i
can play at all levels and dial in and hit the sweet spot of whatever speaker
i am using at the time, mostly a G12M Celestion?"
Sure.
Powered by 2 6V6GT's it's hard to believe the performance of this stout,
11 watt, 1x12 combo that is just the latest in an ongoing tradition here
at Divided by 13 of collaborating with and responding to what players,
writters, and produceres ask us to do. Divided by 13 is happy to announce
the CJ 11 along with 3 other new 1x12 combos designed to be the "necessary
ingredient" to help you achieve your goals in your music making

Cabinets
2x12 F Cabinet (Head not available) $799.99
2x12 F
New 2x12 Fixed baffle cabinet fashioned after our favorite 2x12 played
by the "Fab Four". It is square--not tappered from top to
bottom--so it can be used as the bottom cabinet for an original 2x12.
Available both open or closed back, or both!
Joyride
Like the Dyna-Ranger, the Joyride is a highly-adjustable, 3 discreet transistor,
warm, organic, and very amp-like sounding overdrive pedal that offers
everything from a subtle bump-up with hair, to punishing, highly-boosted
over-the-top overdrive. With Volume, Treble, Bass and "Drive" controls,
it is very flexible.
Dyna-Ranger
All the way down to the original glass Mullard OC44 transistor, the "Dyna-Ranger" is
a 5 range version of our favorite single germanium transistor treble booster
from England used by an array of players from Eric Clapton and David Gilmore
to Tony Iommi and Brian May. Going from position 1 to 5, the "Dyna-Ranger" covers
all tones from the traditional treble booster to more in the middle "woman
tones" to thick and lower Sabbath tones. It is THE perfect sounding
boost/drive pedal.
Rounding it off, we've added an "onboard" power
converting circuit to allow the use of standard 9V power supplies in
place of batteries, and a socket for the transistor allowing the player
to try other transistors also found in the original versions of the
pedal (SKT275, CV7003, Metal OC44, etc.).
Switchazel
The Switchazel is an A/B or A+B switching box with buffered Low Imp Output,
a 9db clean, linear, adjustable boost, and tuner out. Whether you need
a number or two more clean headroom, or to go from 4 to 8 on the volume
knob, or 6 to over-the-top compressed, sustaining overdrive, all is
available with the adjustable 9db clean, linear "Lift" feature.
