The neck is constructed from solid mahogany carved to Gibson's popular "slim taper" profile, which offers a blend of speed and comfort. The neck shape on the Gibson Les Paul Special is an outstanding marriage between the rounded '50s profile and super-slim early '60s profile. An ebony fingerboard enhances note attack and articulation. - Dual Gibson P-90 pickups give the Les Paul Special Double guitar a snappy, slightly gritty response, with a chunky midrange, firm lows, and sweet, musical highs. - This Gibson guitar comes with a LP Thinline Case.
